Position Objective: 

The Contract Administrator will be responsible for assessing, preparing, monitoring and administering GSA, and other Federal, State and Local government bid opportunities. This is a very detailed-oriented position focused on analyzing and determining the value of bid opportunities consistent with revenue objectives. Technical proposal writing, submitting and tracking bid responses, managing contracts, including the processing of all contract modifications and non-financial reporting is required. Under the supervision of the President, the incumbent will work with Executive Management Team to ensure compliance and timely submission of contract requirements and reports.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of B.S. degree or equivalent with minimum 5 years directly related experience with Federal Government contracting.
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet schedules and deadlines.  A minimum of two bid submissions a week.
  • Significant experience in writing federal government proposals with a proven track record of successful outcomes
  • Experience preparing technical project proposals or reports for government agencies
  • Ability to respond quickly to new opportunities and to changing priorities.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail and deadline oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task on various priorities and deadlines; flexibility with tasks assignments and ability to “flow” with nonprofit culture essential
  • Proficient in a proposal writing software, PMAPS prefer or similar experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, in particular, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
