What Is “New” to Others Is a Core Competency for Us!

Michelle Benjamin – CEO of Benjamin Enterprises

All companies have a core focus such as making and selling a product. As a business, they also have many other activities that are not essential to their core business activity, and these can include IT, administrative and clerical functions, facilities maintenance, security, and even warehousing activities such as shipping and receiving. When a company wants to reduce its operating costs, it considers how best to reduce or eliminate non-core labor intensive processes.

The dilemma is that while reductions and eliminations do reduce cost initially, they typically tend to increase costs later when the loss of staff impacts the ability to provide the expected level of functionality in these non-core areas.

This is where a managed services provider can bridge the gap between reduced non-core operating costs and sustained – or improved – levels of functionality. “Managed Services” began with the outsourcing of IT. Many American companies today have pushed out their IT operations to Managed Services Providers (MSP’s) among which the most famous are IBM and NCR.
Now, other labor-intensive functions are being considered as candidates for outsourcing to MSP’s.

As I look back on the twenty six year history of our company, I find it very interesting – and amusing – that we have been on the forefront of managed services provision for our customer for many years. We have demonstrated the ability to bridge the gap between reducing their operating costs while exceeding the levels of service they attained when they self-managed the operations. We are the experienced provider of managed labor services.

So it is with great excitement that I want to give you a “heads up” that starting the first week of September, we will be launching a major education initiative based on our proven record as a Managed Labor Services Provider or as we like to call it, Workforce Solutions Provider.

I encourage you to take advantage of our comprehensive and free offering of webinars focused on how managed workforce solutions can save you money, improve your operational efficiency and deliver results that exceed what you are currently experiencing.

I will be directly participating in these webinars; this is my commitment to you that I take this initiative — and your time — very seriously.
As I resume talking about our guiding principles, you will see just how integral they are to our provision of superior workforce solutions to our customers.

As always, please let me know what your thinking around workforce solutions is, and what you want us to focus on as our initiative continues forward.
